Founder and Co-Owner Kate Goff Okiomah has worked within the sports & entertainment industries for over a decade. After being a member of the University of Kansas Women's Tennis team, Kate graduated with dual Bachelors degree in Journalism and Communications.

Early on in her career Kate had stints with the Arizona Diamondbacks Sales and Marketing department, followed by joining the Communications team at the Ladies Professional Golf Association.

Kate continued her global work at the Women's Tennis Association, leading athlete media and sponsor obligations, communications strategy and implementation, and media relations.

​

KO Communications was formed in 2018 and offers consulting services to organizations and companies of all sizes, ranging from startups to large global companies.

Currently, Kate resides in Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex with her family and is enjoying being in one of largest markets in the United States, while still working with International clients. 

A gifted partnership developer and former professional athlete, Karo Okiomah creates high-impact business alliances that expand brand visibility and drive revenue. After a successful soccer career at High Point University where he studied Business Management, Karo played professional soccer before making the transition into the business world.

 

He began building his partnership expertise at Microsoft, where he pioneered partnerships that increased brand exposure. Karo also held strategic roles at Meta and Gartner, liaising partnerships across industries that generated substantial growth. At Meta and Microsoft, he led partnership initiatives that delivered impressive gains in visibility, and target audience engagement.

 

Karo built a reputation as an adept leader with the ability to forge mutually beneficial relationships between brands and high-profile organizations.

 

Now based in Dallas, Karo heads strategic partnerships for KO Communications. He leverages his experience brokering win-win partnerships to create tailored plans that connect clients to business alliances that support their growth goals.
